Talk to the hand, Mr. Spammer.

We hate spam as much as you do. Probably more. Now we're fighting back: Our SpamGuard protection filters out junk. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. |
Avoid distractions (and who knows what else).
When you're in a mad rush to open and read an important email, the last thing you want is to wait for slow-loading HTML images. Especially since they're often unnecessary -- and sometimes offensive. That's why Yahoo! Mail lets you decide which (if any) images are automatically loaded.
You can set SpamGuard to block all images, no images, or only images in messages that SpamGuard thinks are spam. If you want to see the blocked images in an email, open the message and click the "Show Images" button.
Blocking images also helps to protect you from web beacons, which are invisible tags in an email that inform spammers that the email has been opened and your address is active.
